New Townhomes in the Works Near Orlando Airport
Nearly 200 new townhomes soon may be headed to an area north of Orlando International Airport, according to new development plans.
ASolo Acquisitions & Development LLC on March 31 filed plans with the state for a 166-townhome community. the community called Twelve Oaks Townhomes would bring dozens of attached homes to a part of Orlando heavy with industrial and retail development.
The townhomes would rise on a 21-acre site off Hoffner Avenue, between Conway Road and Semoran Boulevard in southeast Orlando. In addition to 166 townhomes, a clubhouse and amenity building is shown in the plans. The construction timeline is unknown.
Potential prices are not known. However, existing homes in the 32812 zip code in February sold for an average price of $334,433, according to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association. That was slightly cheaper than Orange County's average February home sales price of $382,881. Meanwhile, the local average townhome sales price in February was $257,000.
Also involved in the project are Orlando-based civil engineer Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. and Winter Garden-based surveyor Atlantic Surveying LLC, according to the plans.
